Alvenius are a leading supplier of steelpipe systems within the mining industry, civil engineering, snow making plants and to the industry. Alvenius has delivered hot dip galvanized pipe systems for temporary and permanent applications for over 50 years.
From the plant in Eskilstuna, Sweden, Alvenius has delivered pipe systems to a number of prestigious projects such us, the Channel Tunnel between UK and France, the Laerdal Tunnel, Norway, Geothermal projects, Philippines and to leading international mining companies and ski resorts. The thermo-plastic coated steel pipe system has been delivered to companies such as Phelps Dodge - Arizona US, SCPM - Saudi Arabia, Mercedes Benz - Turkey, Stora-Enso - Sweden and Arlandabanan - Sweden.

Quick Assembly
Alvenius quick connection pipe systems are up to five times faster to install than welding, threading or flanging, resulting in lowest total installed cost. Alvenius pipe systems can reduce total installed costs from 20 to 40%. Assembly without flame, or messy cutting oils and chips, and with a minimum of bolts, has great appeal for many users. Alvenius pipe systems can be assembled with unskilled personnel and to that with a very short assembly time.

Alvenius was founded in Eskilstuna, Sweden 1951. The company started early to deliver steel pipe systems to international mining companies and civil engineering projects around the world. Early mining markets were Zambia, Congo, South Africa and the Philippines.
During the second part of the sixties Alvenius entered into the snowmaking market. Pipe systems for water and compressed air were early delivered to many ski resorts in Europe. Major markets are Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, France and Spain.
When the TP pipes were introduced in the beginning of the 1990's Alvenius entered into new applications mainly within existing market segments. Ideal applications for TP pipes are fire hydrant installations, leaching, process water, potable and waste water, dewatering pipes and for highly corrosive media.
